SU Womens Lacrosse will play in the National Championship game

Will the 3rd time be the charm?

Syracuse University Womens Lacrosse will meet Maryland on Sunday night for the NCAA Division I National Championship.

SU has already lost to Maryland twice this season, including in the ACC Championship game.

It's the second time Syracuse has earned the honor of playing in the title game.

The Orange made it this far by taking care of business 16-8 over Virginia in the National Semifinal. SU was paced by Alyssa Murray and Kayla Treanor who combined for 16 points.

Murray netted six goals.

Syracuse has never won a national title in womens lacrosse.
