It's been a season of comebacks and thrilling finishes.
And while the season is far from over, the Orange finally saw a comeback fall short.
Syracuse trailed Notre Dame 14-9 entering the 4th quarter of the ACC Lacrosse Championship and despite a furious rally it's the Irish that's the first ever ACC Tournament Champion.
Syracuse lost to the Irish 15-14.
The Orange had a chance to tie it in the final seconds but Kevin Rice's shot with 5 seconds left was stopped and the game effectively ended after that.
The loss gives Notre Dame an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament, but don't worry The Orange is still safely in the tournament too.
Syracuse's loss ends a 5 game winning streak which was capped off by a heroic last second victory over Duke on Friday.
The Orange is now 10-4 this season, and finishes up the regular season on Saturday at the Carrier Dome against Colgate.
