Mon, 01 Apr 2013 17:56:53 GMT — For every disappointment or heartbreak that comes with being a sports fan, there are these moments of pure joy to remember. Syracuse University fans around the country are wearing orange this week as they celebrate the Orangeâ??s Final Four run! In Syracuse, retailers selling SU merchandise are packed with people looking for celebratory t-shirts. "It's exciting, it's exciting for our hometown," says Orange fan Sharlene Dixon about the Final Four. The lines formed early at Shirt World and Manny's on Marshall Street. Holy Shirt set up a temporary shop at 2600 Erie Boulevard East just to meet demand from Orange fans. They have been working around the clock to produce the officially licensed shirts. "As soon as Syracuse won the game on Saturday, we've been printing and making preparations non-stop," says John Groat, owner of Holy Shirt. Final Four shirts are a big hit, but fans are also buying them for friends and family across the country who want to show off a little. This is a week to celebrate the Orange's incredible and unpredictable season before the games begin and the tension kicks in. The Final Four is college basketball's biggest stage and the country will be watching. If you're wearing orange this week, send us your fan photos and weâ??ll show them on air! Post them to our Facebook page, tweet them to us at @CNYCentral, or email firstname.lastname@example.org!
