The Syracuse Orange returned to campus for practice on Monday after spending a week at Fort Drum.
The Orange, admittedly, had a good tempo to the 8:30 a.m. practice on both sides of the ball.
The start of a new week also started a new quest for true freshman Devante McFarlane from safety to running back. The move inidicates, given the depth at both positions, that Marrone is more concerned about his offensive backfield than he is with the secondary.
It was a nice change of pace after Marrone was less than pleased with team after its Saturday scrimmage at Fort Drum, we'll see how those issues have been addressed in another scrimmage on Wednesday.
