The Tampa Bay Lightning signed 2013 draftee Kristers Gudlevskis to a three-year, two way pact deal, which will give Tampa Bayâ??s AHL team, the Syracuse Crunch, a third goalie to its roster.
Latvian native Gudlevskis played with HC Riga in Russiaâ??s junior league, the MHL. Last season, he finished with a 27-18 record and .927 save percentage, which was ranked fourth in the MHL for save percentage.
Entering into his first season with the AHL, heâ??ll have to battle Cedrick Desjardins or Riku Helenius for a starting spot on the Crunch.
