OCC men's lacrosse wins their 6th straight national title

The OCC men's lacrosse team (17-0) won their 6th straight NJCAA national title on Sunday, defeating Nassau Community College 12-7 in Uniondale, NY.

OCC led 5-3 at the half, but came out of the locker room firing en route to the 12-7 win. The five-goal victory was the closest win of the season for OCC. Vaughn Harris, the Offensive MVP, scored four goals in the victory, while Nicholas Garbarino tallied a hat trick of his own.

It's the 8th national title in program history, and the Lazers have now won 87 games in a row.

The OCC women's lacrosse team fell in their National Championship game, 11-8 to Monroe Community College. The OCC women finish 15-3.
