Venezuela's Veronica Felibert birdied three of her last four holes at Drumlins Golf Club on Sunday, winning the Credit Union Classic. It was her first career Symetra Tour victory.
Felibert and Garret Phillips were tied as Felibert reached the 17th hole. Felibert proceeded to drop a bomb of a long birdie putt, taking a big lead going into the final hole. Phillips gave Felibert a lot of help though, double bogeying the 18th, giving Felibert the breathing room to win the tournament.
Felibert finished with a 6-under 65 in the final round, with 12-under par winning the tournament by three strokes.
Cheyenne Woods, the niece of Tiger Woods, finished tied for 30th at even par.
