If you went to Fulton Speedway on Wednesday night, you might've thought you were at a NASCAR race.
That's because Kasey Kahne was the Grand Marshal, and a man that's making CNY stops part of his summer routine, Tony Stewart, was actually racing tonight in Fulton.
Both Stewart and Kahne did a Q and A session, and no doubt they both gave the fans a night to remember.
As for the race itself, Stewart looked promising early, as he always does on the DIRT tracks. But an early spin-out derailed his hopes of winning and allowed Lance DeWease to win.
Stewart finished in 12th place and local favorite Stewart Friesen finished in second place.
Every summer since 2010, Stewart has stopped in Central New York to race in Sprint Cars at local DIRT Tracks. Fulton joins Weedsport, Brewerton and others as "pit stops" for the NASCAR superstar.
