Prince-Tyson Gulley looks to lead a talented core of SU football running backs

Syracuse 5th-year senior running back Prince-Tyson Gulley says he is ready to lead the Orange running back core in 2014.

Gulley, who when not injured ran in tandem with now-departed Jerome Smith in 2013, is joined by senior Adonis Ameen-Moore, junior George Morris II and Devante McFarlane as potential impact-making running backs this season. Each has shown flashes of brilliance during their SU careers.

"I feel great about it," Gulley says. "I feel like we've got some good, young guys, new guys that just came in and got a solid core of running backs so I feel really good about that and being that leader."

He added that while he hopes to excel on the field, he's hoping to achieve at least the 8-win goal perscribed by Scott Shafer and several of his teammates as well.
