Michael Carter-Williams prepares for Indiana game with burned home on his mind

Not only has SU point guard Michael Carter-Williams been preparing for Thursdayâ??s game against Indiana, but also dealing with an issue off the court.

His home in Hamilton, Massachusetts engulfed in flames as Syracuse defeated California to punch their ticket to the Sweet 16. Amidst this adversity, Carter-Williams is focused on facing the Hoosiers with the support of his teammates.

"They've been here for me, they've said, if you need anything let me know, they've made things easy for me, I appreciate that," Carter-Williams, who scored 12 points in the California victory, says. "We've overcome a lot of adversity throughout the season, this is a little more personal, but, they're there for me and help me overcome some adversity in my life."

Carter-Williams and the Orange takes on Indiana in the Sweet Sixteen on Thursday at 9:45 on CBS.
