After CBA/JD state title hockey team is honored, schools go to overtime in lacrosse

Before rivals CBA and JD played against each other in lacrosse, the CBA/JD combined hockey team was honored for their first state title in school history before the game.

Fans cheered for both squads at the beginning, but by the end of the lacrosse game, those cheers were reserved for just one side, as a wild, high scoring, fast-paced and physical game went into overtime, with Griffin Feiner of the Red Rams cashing in the winning goal with 1:57 left in the extra period, as J-D won 15-14.

CBA actually held a 14-13 lead for much of the fourth quarter, but J-D scored a goal late in the fourth to tie it and force overtime, to the delight of the Red Rams crowd.
