It doesn't matter who you beat in Section III Lacrosse, a win is something no local high school team takes for granted.

To beat a power team on the road? That's just icing on the cake.

That's what F-M and West Genesee were able to do on Tuesday night.

The Hornets found a way to win over C-NS, 8-5 in Cicero.

F-M found a way to victory through its playmaker Donovan Welsh and his 8 points (6 goals, 2 assists). The Hornets have just one loss on the season.

That came to West Genesee.

The Wildcats came to play Tuesday as well.

Facing a feisty Baldwinsville squad, West Genesee held off the Bees for a 14-10 victory.

Jack Howes scored 6 goals in the win.

Also on Tuesday, Syracuse beat Liverpool 10-9.
