Fayetteville-Manlius wins latest installment of Hornets-Wildcats rivalry

Lacrosse fans always anxiously await the two matchups between Fayetteville-Manlius and West Genesee boys lacrosse.

For tonight, anyway, it's the Hornets getting the better of the Wildcats.

F-M turned a 4-4 halftime tie in to a 9-6 victory over West Genny in Manlius on Monday night.

The Hornets were led by John Cote's 5 points (3 goals, 2 assists) and Brian Charlamb's 8 saves.

West Genesee's valiant effort was spearheaded by 3 points from Tyler Brown and Matt Koziol's 14 saves.

The win keeps the Hornets on top of the CNYCL American League, and basically assures the Hornets the league crown.
