For the first time in 26 games, Solvay football comes out on top

After losing 26 games in a row, the Solvay Bearcats came back to win at Phoenix on Friday night.

The first half was characterized by fumbles and overall ball control. After trailing going into halftime by a score of 19-14, Solvay mounted a comeback.

Brandon Franklin scored for Solvay on a one yard run in the third quarter to give Solvay a 20-19 lead.

Nick Cometti scored his second touchdown of the game in the fourth quarter to give Solvay the win, 27-19.
