There was no love lost in the rivalry between Utica Proctor and Henninger, but once again it was the boys from Syracuse coming away with the victory. The defending Section III champs from Henninger survived an overtime session with the Raiders and took the victory 62-55. All year long the Black Knights have relied on their veteran leaders to help them out in close games and that was once again the case on Friday as Tommie Spinner led the way with 21 points and Tevin Chisholm chipped in with 16. Henninger improves to 9-3 on the campaign while Proctor drops to 10-2.
It was another rivalry renewed in Dewitt too, as Jamesville-Dewitt hosted CBA. The Brothers fought hard and were able to hang with the Red Rams throughout the first half, only trailing by seven at the break. Eventually though, Jamesville-Dewitt pulled away by virtue of outscoring CBA 22-6 in the third quarter. DaJuan Coleman threw down several big time dunks en route to 22 points, he also grabbed 14 rebounds in the 69-47 victory.
