A beautiful day in the weather made way for a beautiful night for lacrosse on Tuesday, as Section III heads towards the home stretch.

For the boys, David Procopio had four goals for West Genesee as they defeated Corcoran at Corcoran Stadium10-6. But the game changer for the Wild Cats was Matt Koziolâ??s thirteen saves at goal including several at point-blank range.

In Class B Whitesboro visited East Syracuse-Minoa for a battle under the lights. ES-M took home the victory despite Logan Gagneâ??s 5 goals for the Warriors. The next game for ES-M is Thursday under the lights once again as they go head on against Homer. A tough test on both sides for sure.

For the girls, ES-M went over to Christian Brothers Academy to take on the #1 team in New York. CBA did not disappoint with the 15-2 victory. Emily Ehle had six goals and two assists to help lead her team to victory.
