West Genesee vs. West Islip

West Genesee needed three periods of overtime to squeak into the Class A title game on Friday but didn't show a hint of fatigue in their victory over previously unbeaten West Islip. Molly Elmer earned game MVP for her four goal, five assist performance as the Wildcats took home their seventh state title.

Skaneateles vs. Cold Spring Harbor

After falling short last year in the state finals, the Lakers were looking for a little redemption this weekend as they took on Cold Spring Harbor in the championship match at SUNY Cortland. Tied at 11 in the final seconds of regulation, Molly Wood found a loose ball in front of the CSH crease and was able to nab the game winner.

Jamesville-DeWitt vs. Yorktown

J-D made their fourth state title appearance in five seasons and played catchup with Yorktown through most of Saturday afternoon. The Red Rams came within one goal in the final minute against Yorktown but couldn't finish their comeback, falling in the finals for the second straight year.

Fayetteville-Manlius vs. Massapequa

The F-M Hornets made their first finals appearance in 21 years on Saturday but were'nt able to grab their first state title falling 16-2 to the Chiefs.

Cazenovia vs. Bronxville

Undefeated Cazenovia was also upset in finals action on Saturday. A fourth quarter five-goal onslaught from Bronxville in the final nine minutes of the match cost the Lakers their chance at a repeat Class C championship. The win was a sweet revenge for Bronxville, who Cazenovia took down last season in the title game.
