Jamesville-DeWitt, Christian Brothers Academy advance to boys lacrosse State Title Games

Jamesville-DeWitt cruised past Palmyra-Macedon in Wednesday's semifinal game, advancing to Saturday's Class C State Championship.

Central New York has two more boys lacrosse teams left standing after Wednesday's New York State Semifinal games.

In Class A, Baldwinsville's dream run came to an end at the hands of Pittsford, 11-8. The Bees jumped out to a 5-2 lead, but allowed Pittsford to storm back and ultimately take the lead.

In Class C, Jamesville-DeWitt handled Palmyra-Macedon after an 8-1 first quarter lead. The Red Rams cruised to the 20-6 win, setting up a State Championship matchup with Cold Spring Harbor at 3 p.m. on Saturday from St. John Fisher College in Pittsford, New York.

In Class D, Christian Brothers Academy took down Akron out of the Buffalo area, 20-3. The Brothers led from start to finish, advancing to Saturday's State Championship Game against Westlake at 5:30 p.m. from St. John Fisher College.
