Raw video: Central Square spoils North Stars' playoff chances

John Vincentini scores a touchdown against C-NS on Friday night.

The Central Square Red Hawks spoiled the Cicero North-Syracuse North Stars chance at a playoff berth on Friday night, winning 56-29. With the win, Central Square improved their own chances of making it into the playoffs.

After Owen Dziados hit Vincenzo Iannuzzo with a 29-yard reception, the Central Square option offense went to work, putting together a 20-point second quarter. The Red Hawks really put it away in the fourth, scoring 28 points.

Since Central Square led at the half, they're still alive for a spot in sectionals, depending on if West Genesee defeats Henninger on Saturday.
