      Section 3 football played Week 3 in the 2013 season on Friday night, as several teams found out how they will begin to fit in the sectional playoff race.

      It was a hard fought game in Cicero on Friday night, but CBA led the entire way in a 42-21 victory over Cicero-North Syracuse. The Brothers improve to 3-0 on the season, behind a multi-faceted attack that's tough to beat. Click the video player to watch all of the video our cameras captured at the game.

      West Genesee scored early and often against Central Square, winning 62-21 over the Red Hawks. Filling in for injured starting quarterback Bailey Gauthier, West Genesee sophomore Dashon Turner threw for 232 yards and four touchdowns. Running back and SU commit Naesean Howard ran for 136 yards and two touchdowns in the victory.

      The ESM Spartans bounced back after losing last week with a 40 to 6 victory over the Fowler Falcons. The Spartans made sure there wasn't any doubt early, putting up 27 points in the first quarter, en route to a 33-0 halftime lead. ESM scored two touchdowns on defense, including a K'Hari Flagg forced..and recovered a fumble on a Fowler drive that he took 70 yards the other way for a touchdown. Former CNY Central Athlete of the Week Sean Richardson went 7 for 11 for 127 yards and 2 touchdowns in the victory.

      Westhill did their work on the ground, rushing for six out of their seven touchdowns in their 48-6 win over the Solvay Bearcats. Warriors running back JaShai Jamison scored three of those touchdowns with runs of 5, 59 and 4 yards for TDs. Devlin White scored the lone Bearcats touchdown.

      In Class C, Bishop Ludden jumped out to an early 7-0 lead over Canastota, but the Raiders ran right back at Ludden, scoring the game's final 17 points en route to a 17-7 victory.
