Carter finished tied for 8th in the state tournament. Auburn High School won the Section 3 Title as a whole, going undefeated, while Section 3 as a whole won the state tournament as well.

In their time in the CNY Central studios, May recapped her amazing final round, while Carter talked about the Section 3 team performing so well during the state tournament. The two also spoke about what they've learned about each other, five grades apart, in their time on the Auburn golf team. Carter at one point mentions that May winning the state title is the official passing of the torch, as Carter will move on to Division One Radford University in Virginia next season.
