The match up is set as the number one seed Westhill Warriors and third seed Utica-Notre Dame Jugglers will face off for the Section III Class B Boys Basketball Championship.
The Jugglers used defense to reach the championship game as they held Sherburne- Earlville without a field goal in the final seven minutes of play. That and two huge 3-pointers from Sophomore Jerome Brabham helped Utica Notre Dame end the game on a 10-2 run and defeat the Marauders 64-56. Brabham finished the game with 22 points.
Westhill defeated the Institute of Technology Syracuse Central on the back of Junior Jordan Roland's 27-point night. The Warriors were down early, trailing by four at the end of the first quarter, but turned on the gas in the second and never looked back. Westhill won by the final of 79-64.
Utica-Notre Dame and Westhill will play at 2:45pm on March 1st in the Carrier Dome.
