Toyota High School Game of the Week: C-NS rolls over CBA on way to semifinal
It didn't take long for Cicero-North Syracuse to find the end-zone, and then find it again - and again.
They beat Christian Brothers Academy 61-7 in a game that was never in question.
In the first quarter junior QB Conner Hayes scampered 25 yards for the game's first touchdown. Hayes also threw for a pair of touchdowns in the win.
Senior running back Erik Pride ran for over two hundred yards and three touchdowns.
The C-NS defense held the Brothers scoreless through the first three quarters. They also reeled in four interceptions included a sixty yard return by Omar Mere.
C-NS Head Coach Dave Kline was pleased with his teams performance, but says they're focused on a bigger goal.
"Again, I say all the time, if you're not motivated you shouldn't be playing football so these guys will be ready to go. They'll be motivated enough," Kline said.
