Dancing in Starkville: Syracuse women draw No. 8 seed, set to meet Oklahoma State

The Syracuse women's basketball team held a watch party on Monday night during the NCAA Selection Show on ESPN.

For the sixth consecutive year, the Syracuse University women's basketball team is headed to the Big Dance.

The team held a watch party from the Iocolano-Petty Football Complex on Monday night, erupting when the Orange heard their name called on ESPN's national television broadcast.

Syracuse earned the No. 8 seed and will meet 9-seed Oklahoma State in the first round from Starkville, Mississippi.

If the Orange can defeat the Cowgirls, they will have a chance for a rematch with top-seeded Mississippi State in the second round.

The Bulldogs defeated the Orange in December, 76-65, in the 'Duel in the Desert' from Las Vegas.

Syracuse and Oklahoma State will meet on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
