Oshae Brissett breaks silence, announces his return to Syracuse Basketball on Twitter
Oshae Brissett broke his silence on Sunday night, announcing his intentions to return to Syracuse University for his sophomore season.
The freshman forward finished second on the team in scoring with nearly 15 points per game.
Brissett was flirting with the idea of testing the NBA waters following a string of outstanding performances in the NCAA Tournament.
The Mississauga, Ontario native wrote in his tweet: "Ready for year 2 #UnfinishedBusiness."
The good news comes days after Darius Bazley's decision to not attend Syracuse, instead joining the NBA G-League as the first top high school prospect to do so.
With Tyus Battle's decision forthcoming, Orange fans await the the news of the final piece of the puzzle to fall into place.
If Battle decides to return to Syracuse for his junior season, the Orange will undoubtedly be one of America's top teams ahead of the 2018-19 season.
However, if he does not, Elijah Hughes will more than likely move into the shooting guard spot in Syracuse's starting rotation.
