Syracuse Basketball coaching staff visit top prospect Joe Girard III in Glens Falls Sunday
Recruiting never ends in the world of college basketball, especially for the Syracuse men's basketball program.
This is an important off-season for the Orange, as they attempt to compile their 2019 recruiting class ahead of the next season.
Jim Boeheim, along with assistant coach Gerry McNamara took a trip to the Capital Region of New York State on Sunday, paying a visit to Joe Girard III.
Girard is a coveted prospect at the moment, holding offers from Duke, Michigan, Oklahoma and Notre Dame, among several others.
Syracuse offered Girard a few months back, even hosting the high school junior at a regular season game from the Carrier Dome.
On Sunday, reports indicated Boeheim and McNamara continued their recruiting efforts on Girard, visiting his home in Glens Falls.
Girard has not given a timetable on his college decision, but the news of Boeheim visiting Girard at his home in Glens Falls goes to show how serious Syracuse is about having the three-star sharpshooter wearing Orange in the near future.
