SP: Man had BAC of .30% when he drunkenly drove onto NYS Fairgrounds
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A Syracuse man is arrested for DWI charges after driving through a restricted area at the New York State Fair.
46-year-old Glenn Krisak allegedly drove his 2016 Pontiac Grand Prix through the inside of the State Fairgrounds with many people around and while under the influence of alcohol. State Police say the incident happened at about 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the red parking lot between the infirmary and the International Building.
Troopers say Krisak had a blood alcohol content of .30% and was operating the motor vehicle without a license. That's nearly four times the legal limit.
Krisak was charged with Aggravated DWI, driving without a license, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on a highway, and for failure to obey a traffic control device. He was arraigned in the Town of Solvay Court and sent to the Onondaga County Justice Center without bail.
