There has been a potential public exposure to COVID-19 at the Walmart in New Hartford, according to the Oneida County Executive.
The Walmart is located at Consumer Square. The potential exposure happened on Thursday, October 29th from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. The person was wearing a mask. People should monitor for possible symptoms through Thursday, November 12th.
As of Sunday, Oneida County had 44 new positive cases for a total of 3,071 cases with 424 active cases. There was also one new death bringing the total COVID-19-related deaths total to 133. Right now 23 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County.
