Local Sherwin-Williams employees paint for a cause
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Central New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), received a much needed update to their offices Tuesday.
Local Sherwin-Williams employees volunteered their time and supplies to repaint the offices of CNY SPCA employees in Syracuse.
Their efforts were part of National Painting Week; each year Sherwin-Williams employees volunteer their time helping local businesses paint and upgrade their facilities.
This is the first year the company is working with the CNY SPCA. Sherwin-Williams donated 12 gallons of paint and all the needed materials for the project.
'National Painting Week' takes place every year. This year it will be from May 25 to June 4. The week offers painting ideas, expert tips and product information that can be used for painting projects.
Throughout the week, thousands of Sherwin-Williams employees in the United States and Canada will donate their time and products, helping non-profits, churches and schools upgrade facilities and offices.
