A singing sensation who hasn’t hit pre-school will make another all-star appearance in Central New York.

Drake Grillo, 3, has been tapped to sing the National Anthem at the Harlem Globetrotters game in Syracuse on March 9.

Grillo, who is now almost 4, first made waves for his stirring rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner” at an Auburn Doubledays game in July.

"I'm 35-years-old and I haven't done a lot of the things that he's done,” said Drake’s mom, Chelsea Grillo. “So to be able to share that with him this young and be able to show him later on – that is special.”

Grillo made history in December when he became the youngest person to ever since the National Anthem at the Carrier Dome. He performed before the Syracuse women's basketball game.

His talent caught the eye of the Harlem Globetrotters, and on Monday, Globetrotters star Hoops Green stopped by the Skaneateles YMCA to surprise Drake with an invitation to sing.

“He's just living life no worries it's pretty amazing and he knows a lot,” Green said. “I can tell he's really smart. He's athletic, too!"

Drake will sing before the Globetrotters game at the War Memorial on March 9 at 7 p.m. To buy tickets, click here.
