Syracuse Police identify two men killed in Eastwood shooting

Syracuse Police are investigating a double homicide in the neighborhood of Eastwood.

According to police, the shooting occurred at 158 Lynwood Avenue near James Street and Tyson Place around 4:11 p.m. Wednesday for a call of a shooting.

When police arrived, they found two male victims in their 20s suffering from gunshot wounds. Medical personnel on the scene determined that the victims were dead upon their arrival.

On Thursday morning police identified the victims as 21-year-old Luis Sepulveda and 28-year-old Christopher McLauren, both of Syracuse.

Police said it appears the victims were targeted for an unknown reason. As of Thursday morning, police say they still have no suspect information to share with the public, and urge anyone with information to contact authorities.
