Police say a 13-year-old boy managed to get away from a man who grabbed for his hand as he was walking home at 3:21 p.m. Monday.

The victim was walking home from Geneva Middle School when he noticed a black Toyota Sienna minivan in the area of Carter Road, Oak, High and Pulteney Streets, police say.
