Bar owner pleads guilty to sexually abusing women in his own business
Penn Yan, N.Y. - The owner of a bar in Penn Yan, who was accused of sexual abuse and attempted rape in his business on Christmas Eve, pleaded guilty Wednesday.
Bob Champlin pled guilty to two felony counts of sexual abuse, and faces 2-3 years in prison and 10 years of parole.
Police say the sexual abuse took place in Champlin's bar Lloyd's Limited Pub on December 24, 2017, after closing time.
Some of the alleged abuse was recorded and surfaced on social media.
Police say the woman who recorded the first incident was also a victim later that night.
Sentencing for Champlin is scheduled for March 5th, 2019.
