Beak & Skiff is seeing its best crop in years as apple picking season ramps up
LAFAYETTE, N.Y. — Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards in Lafayette is welcoming apple pickers back for another season to one of its best crops in years.
Recently names the best apple orchard in America by USA Today readers, Beak & Skiff's President Eddie Brennan says the apple crop will make this season even better.

"We have a great crop," said Brennan. "Big apples and a great diversity of assortment."
Apple picking is a popular fall activity for many and as Beak & Skiff welcomes guests to the orchard they are also making COVID-19 safety a priority.
"Luckily for us, we are an outdoor environment so people can come here and feel safe and spread out," said Brennan. "We encourage people to wear masks inside. All of our employees are wearing masks now, so we are taking that pretty seriously."
This weekend they will be picking McIntosh apples, a favorite for New Yorkers according to Brennan.
Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards is open 7 days a week until 7 p.m.
