Body found in Black River in Watertown

State police are asking for the publicâ??s help in identifying a man found in the Black River in Jefferson County Tuesday morning.

The man was found in the river at the Glen Park Hydroelectric Dam around 9:10 a.m. He was described as a 6â??0â?? to 6â??3â?? white male with a beard and mustache. Police say he weighed about 260 pounds and had black hair and brown eyes.

Police say he was found wearing a blue â??American Eagle Outfitterâ?? sweat shirt, greenish-tan vintage cargo pants, brown craftsman work boots and a two-sided belt. His shoes were approximately size 13 and his belt was size 44.
