A finish that could only be described as miraculous.

With just seconds remaining in a Wednesday night game, Cazenovia trailed Bryant & Stratton 112-110. A pass down low to sophomore Raishun Richardson tied the game. Then freshman Majesty Wilder stole the ball and chucked up a three-pointer to win the game at the buzzer.

It felt great," said Wilder, an Auburn native. "Whole lot of emotions. I was happy, excited, and then that big pile at the was crazy."

"I let the guys play it out and trusted them to make the right plays," said third-year head coach Justin Stern. "They made me look like a great coach," he said with a laugh. "But really its them making the plays."

The wild finish put the small school in the national spotlight.

Senior captain Nick Filippi is in his last year with the program. The Solvay native said Wednesday's thriller showed Central New York that they're a team to watch.

"You come here and it's filled," said Filippi. "The fans love the players and it's just a good vibe around here."

Stern said the viral video is not just big for their program, but for all of Cazenovia.

"Not just for the team but for the whole school," said Stern. "At the end of the video you see the whole student section came out onto the court. It is great for the community to get people to come see we're a serious program and moving in the right direction."

The Wildcats (4-6, 1-2)are back in action in Cazenovia on Sunday, January 6th. They host Northern Vermont University-Lyndon (2-9, 0-4) at 7:00 p.m.
