CBS5 welcomes veteran meteorologist to evening newscasts


In addition to announcing a brand new expansion of morning and noon news on CBS5, there are changes coming to the evening newscasts as well.


Starting later this spring Meteorologist Mike Brookins will permanently join Michael Benny on the CBS5 news at 5pm, 5:30pm, 6pm and 11pm. Brookins has forecasted for Central New Yorkers for the past ten years at CNY Central. He currently appears on the stations' early and late evening weekend newscasts, as well as several newscasts during the week.
