Chicken wing prices reach four year low

Bloomberg reports poultry producers say chicken wings prices are the lowest they've been in four years.

This comes after last year's demand priced them out of menus.

Instead, restaurants are now promoting boneless wings, rather than bone-in.

According to Bloomberg, chicken wing prices reached a staggering $2.19 per pound high back in September of last year.

But now, prices have dropped 37%, with an average prices $1.37 per pound -- the lowest in four years.

Experts say that prices will most likely continue to improve until the 2018 football season kicks off.
