Due to the overnight freezing rain storms and temperatures, the Syracuse Chiefs game against the Norfolk Tides has been postponed due to safety concerns for players and fans.

According to the Chiefs organization, Sunday's game will be made up as a doubleheader on Monday, July 25 in Norfolk at Harbor Park. Game times will be announced at a later date. The 2018 schedule poster give away will be given out to fans for the rest of the season.

The "Meet the Chiefs" session will be moved to Super Saturday on April 28, including a batting practice for fans on the field during the pregame and a player meet and greet after, officials said.

The Chiefs will open a three-game series Monday night against Indianapolis Indians at NBT Bank Stadium.
