Sheriff's office identifies victims of deadly pick-up truck and tractor trailer crash

Crash between SUV and tractor trailer results in serious injuries

A car accident in Mexico between a pick-up truck and a Fastrac gasoline tractor trailer, has resulted in the death of two people, according to the Oswego County Sheriff's office.

The victims have been identified as Edward Boyzuck and Edith Knight, deputies said. Both victims were passengers of the pick-up truck, and were from Oswego.

The head-on accident occurred just before 6 p.m. at Munger Hill Road and Route Three, according to Oswego County 911.

The pick-up truck was travelling north on Route Three, and the tractor trailer was travelling south, deputies said. No gas was spilled form the tractor trailer, deputies added.

The operator of the tractor trailer was identified as Troy Lund, of Camillus, deputies said. He was not injured as a result.

The accident remains under investigation.
