Dryer fire displaces two families in East Syracuse

Fire crews in East Syracuse responded to a dryer fire that displaced two families (Courtesy: East Syracuse Fire Dept.).

A fire that started in a dryer displaced nine people in East Syracuse Thursday morning.

The call came in around 9:25 a.m. Crews responded to 7325 Collamer Rd. Damage was mostly contained to the inside of the building.

The Red Cross is helping the two families who lived in the home -- nine people in all.
