Cuse Pit Crew offering $1,000 reward for information after dog found dead
FRANKFORT, HERKIMER COUNTY, N.Y. —
A Syracuse dog rescue organization is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest of whoever left a pit bull for dead in Herkimer County.
A 3 or 4-year-old pit bull was found in a crate on Southside Rd. in Frankfort, heavily scarred and malnourished. Veterinarians said the dog died from malnutrition and animal fighting.
After hearing about the case, the Cuse Pit Crew wanted to help police find the person or people responsible for it.
They are offering a $1,000 dollar reward to anyone who has information.
Police said they're looking for two men who were seen leaving the area in a dark blue or black dodge pick-up truck.
