Deputies looking for suspect in fatal 4th of July stabbing at Oneida Shores
TOWN OF CICERO, N.Y. —
Deputies are investigating a fatal stabbing that happened at Oneida Shores.
Investigators say an unconscious man arrived at Upstate University Hospital at around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. They later learned the man had suffered a stab wound from an unknown man while at a gathering at the Mckinley Ridge West Pavilion at Oneida Shores Park.
The victim died shortly after arriving at the hospital. He was identified as 26-year-old Maurice Crawford of Syracuse.
The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the stabbing and asks anyone with information to call 315-435-3081.
