Drive-thru of Baldwinsville McDonald's catches fire

Drive-thru canopy of Baldwinsville McDonald's catches fire

Crews quickly knocked down a fire at part of McDonald's in Baldwinsville late Tuesday night.

According to fire officials, the flames didn't start inside the building, but in the canopy area from the drive-thru of the McDonald's on Downer Street Road just before 8:30 p.m.

Everyone inside the building was out by the time fire crews arrived, according to the Baldwinsville Fire Department. The fire was then knocked down within 10 to 15 minutes.

Nobody was injured. Fire officials said it most likely started from an electrical issue.
