Fashion comes alive in windows of Syracuse's Landmark Theatre
SYRACUSE - Live fashion models took to the windows at the historic Landmark Theatre downtown Thursday night. The living model fashion show is part of Syracuse Fall Fashion Week.
Fashion Week Executive Director Lisa Marie Butler calls it a coming together of fashion, local business and advertising. "The corner really comes alive on this night," Butler said.
The Landmark Window Project kicks off Syracuse Fall Fashion Week 2015. Several local businesses purchased windows, created a concept and then designed, decorated and clothed a live model.
The Window Project is followed by next week's Syracuse Style Fashion Show. Last year the event drew an estimated 900 people to the 100 block of Walton Street in Armory Square. The outdoor show is September 17 at 7:30 p.m. It will feature fall fashions from Syracuse area boutiques, and original designs by local designers.
