CHARLOTTE N.C. — A Frontier plane that was heading from Orlando to Syracuse Hancock International Airport Thursday made an unplanned stop in Charlotte due to “an odor on board.”
Frontier Flight 1214 left Orlando before 1 p.m. Thursday. It was supposed to land in Syracuse at 3:44 p.m.
Video sent to CNYCentral from NBC News shows the plane parked in Charlotte as passengers were let off the plane.
A spokesperson for Frontier says another plane is on its way to Charlotte from Orlando to pick up the stranded passengers and take them to Syracuse later Thursday.
There were 161 passengers on board, according to Frontier. No one was hurt.
