Governor Cuomo predicts 'lucky year' for Bills while attending home opener

Gov. Andrew Cuomo says 2013 is going to be a "lucky year" for the Buffalo Bills, with a new stadium and a 10-year commitment from the team to stay put in western New York.

Cuomo made the comments Sunday morning when he stopped at Ralph Wilson Stadium before the team's home opener.

The 10-year agreement announced in December calls for $130 million in stadium upgrades split among the state, county and the team.

Cuomo stopped by the Taste of New York tailgate party under a tent behind the Bills field house with Lt. Gov. Robert Duffy, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz and other state and local officials. They were welcomed by Bills President Russ Brandon.
