Large crowd expected at services for Coach Mac; Here's where attendees need to go
SYRACUSE, N.Y. —
Services will be held at Syracuse's Hendricks Chapel on Thursday and Friday to commemorate the life of Richard "Dick" MacPherson, who passed away at age 86 earlier this week.
Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.; the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday.
A large crowd is expected to attend the services, and as a result the university has a plan in place to accommodate members of the public looking to attend.
Free parking will be available in the lots on the west side of the university's campus, including Stadium (STAD), Standart (STAND), and Fine (FINE). A shuttle service will be available to transport attendees to and from Hendricks Chapel.
Those who need accessible parking are advised to go directly to the Q1 lot.
Anyone with questions or concerns is urged to contact the Office of Parking and Transit Services at 315-443-4652 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
