Looking for a dog to adopt and a haircut? A local barbershop has you covered.

During the month of January, "Il Barberiere" barbershop will be donating a portion of its proceeds from every haircut to Cuse Pit Crew. Stephanie Heath, founder of Cuse Pit Crew, says the fundraiser called "Cuts 4 the Crew" will help raise awareness about the growing number of animals in local shelters in need of forever homes.

"It's community partnerships like this one that allows us to promote pet adoptions," Heath says.

In addition to donating a portion of the proceeds from haircuts this month, Il Barberiere barbershop owner Corey Stone says adoptable shelter dogs will also be at barbershop each Saturday, and anyone is welcome to come in and see them.

"You don't have to get a haircut. We just want to help Cuse Pit Crew keep on doing the great work they do with these dogs," Stone says.
