SYRACUSE, N.Y — Allegiant Air has teamed up with the Syracuse Hancock International Airport and the Orlando Sanford International Airport to bring travelers low-cost airfare rates.

According to Allegiant Air, the one way flights will cost as low as $48. The company said the new route will operate twice a week on a yearly basis.

Allegiant said seats on the new route are limited and low rates will not apply to all flights.

Allegiant Vice President said the company is proud of its ability to deliver an affordable and convenient getaway option to Upstate New York.

Earlier this year Frontier and the Syracuse Airport announced the low-fare airline would also offer nonstop flights to Orlando as well as Denver, Raleigh/Durham, N.C., and Chicago's O'Hare Airport in 2018.
